Be Mad Behead

Be Mad Behead is a challenging 2D action-adventure platformer set in a dystopian world ruled by an all-powerful AI. This AI controls society by distributing resources based on a social credit system, which divides humanity into isolated zones called “strata.” Each stratum develops—or stagnates or regresses—depending on the amount of resources it receives, resulting in wildly different technological eras coexisting in the same world: from prehistoric wilderness to futuristic metropolises.

You play as a rebel who, along with a resistance group, attempted to overthrow the AI. The mission failed—and as punishment, you were cast down to the lowest stratum, stripped of everything. To reach the AI once again, you’ll have to climb your way back up, one stratum at a time, fighting through the horrors and absurdities of each era.
